After a two month hiatus, due to computer malfunction, the podcast has returned! This week, Paul Maki also returns to discuss the fourth episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's third season, "Beauty & The Beasts". In an attempt to get over killing her previous boyfriend, Buffy is dating a new guy, and seeing a school therapist. Meanwhile, a young couple at the school are involved in an extreme case of domestic abuse, complete with radioactive goo. Don't ask.

Please join Paul and I as we talk about violence against women, the animal within man and why it's important to hit such topics with a plastic baseball bat, instead of a sledge hammer. Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the episode on your DVD.

Paul Maki from the QN Podcast, returns for a viewing of episode three from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's third season, "Faith, Hope & Trick". Buffy is feeling guilty about killing Angel, making the dating scene very difficult for her, especially when fellow Sunnydale student, Scott Hope asks her out. Meanwhile, a new Slayer seems to be crashing the non-party that is Buffy's life, form of East Coast spitfire, Faith. To top it all off, a well-appointed vampire by the name of Mr. Trick also blows into town, bringing along a big, gruesome monster who's got revenge on the agenda. Coincidence? Yeah, we didn't think so either.

Please join Paul and I as we discuss the idea of friendship rings, flashbacks within dream sequences and the acting progression of a promising young girl named Eliza Dushku. Perhaps you've heard of her. Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the episode on your DVD.

Paul Maki makes a long overdue return to the podcast to discuss the second episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's third season, "Dead Man's Party". Buffy and her friends are trying to readjust to having her back, but no one is saying what needs to be said. Meanwhile, Joyce has found a new supportive friend in the last three months, and an ancient, cursed mask that apparently raises the dead. Isn't it pretty?

Please join Paul and I as we talk about odd character behavior, thin phlebotinums, Sunnydale home owner's insurance and the chemistry between actors Nicholas Brendon & Charisma Carpenter. Zombies and Beer Bongs and Dead Cats, oh my! Please listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the episode on your DVD.

After what seems like a decade in vampire years (meaning, "forever"), the Sofa Dogs podcast has returned to the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In the third season premiere, "Anne" the Slayer has run away from home to the mean streets of L.A. Though she's lost and alone, Buffy seems to do quite well for herself, securing a waitressing job and a decent apartment right in downtown. Unfortunately, she can't escape who she is, and Buffy must investigate when another former Sunnydale resident recognizes her, and some teen runaways start growing old super fast.

Meanwhile, it's the first day of the new school year at Sunnydale High. The Scoobies try to pick up the slack where Buffy left off. Willow is bothered by Oz's lack of school spirit, Xander and Cordelia begin some sort of serious courtship/fighting ritual and Joyce blames Giles for Buffy's disappearance. To celebrate my favorite season of this series, I asked Brent Moore and Elizabeth Coffman from The Geekscape Movie Club to join me. Please listen and enjoy our discussions about 16 millimeter film versus 35, music product placement and alternate hell dimensions. NOTE: Contains some adult language. Listener discretion is advised.

Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the episode on your DVD.
