Paul Maki returns for commentary on the twentieth episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's second season, "Go Fish". The promising members of Sunnydale High's swim team are shedding their skins, literally! It's up to Buffy and her friends to find the connection between these bizarre deaths and a recent crop of scaly sea creatures roaming the halls. Naturally, it all has something to do with the fall of the Soviet Union.... Naturally.

Please join Paul and I as we talk about Wentworth Miller, David Fury and the subtle message in this episode which warns us, "performance enhancing drugs are bad, m'kay?" Remember to listen for the preemptive countdown before starting the program on your DVD.

...must...have.....my.....buffy-fix.....
thanks so much john for a new buffy-commentary. i was already considering checking myself in into a rehab-clinic for this buffy-commentary-addicition.
by the way, what a shock........

i was at work , writing my reports, and i was getting ready to listen to your couch-surfing podcast. And you guys totally mentioned me! That was kinda surreal haha. Hearing those american voices mentioning my name while working. (i work as a case-managers with people who have an (real) addiction)

well i am going to listen to the the commentary right now. keep up the good work!

greetings from peter

This episode had a good twist with the monsters not actually eating people but in fact people turning into monsters. That\\\'s another possible reason why Joss liked David Fury\\\'s writing as this same kind twist have been used later on in \\\'Angel\\\' too.

Oh, and great to hear someone knows how to pronounce \\\'sauna\\\' correctly as I am Finnish myself .(Though it kind sucks being in Finland now with all the school shootings and all).I guess sofadogs\\\' main audience is in Europe after all...?
